Introduction
Master of Business Administration (Professional Practice)

This course is designed to develop the key attributes and skills required by senior and middle managers in a range of areas including commerce, industry, and public sector. Participants choose to study a particular set of units, combined with a period of approved professional practice experience/or research, providing the graduate the opportunity to apply their theoretical understanding to the reality of the workplace.
Professional Practice placements are limited and may not be available in every state and territory. Students are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements and meeting all associated costs.
Students wishing to undertake Professional Practice units should first undertake a preliminary interview with the Head of School. Please be aware the Professional Practice units will not be introduced at CDU Sydney until 2015.
Admission Requirements
The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) receives and processes applications for admission to Charles Darwin University Higher Education prospective students.
Successful completion of a recognized Bachelor degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a business or related field; or successful completion of a recognized Bachelor degree in an unrelated field with at least two years' work experience in a business related role.
Students with a Bachelor degree in an unrelated field who have also completed a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) with a score no less than the Australian Mean Score within 12 months prior to admission are also eligible to apply for this course.
Additional Admission Requirements
Applicants wanting to be considered on the basis of their GMAT score must submit a certified copy of their GMAT test results to the Admissions team at Charles Darwin University as soon as possible after submitting the SATAC application.
