From hands-on experience to theoretical foundations, the management concentration prepares you to lead with confidence and success. Students are able to develop skills in areas such as negotiation, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Our program combines a strong core curriculum with electives that let you map your own path, and we keep the program streamlined to just 40 credits. We welcome both full- and part-time students and offer small and flexible classes to accommodate your schedule.
Thanks to that broad preparation, our management students have gone on to work at TD Bank, Axa Financial, and Life Integra, to name just a few. What's more, the department is home to the nation's No. 1 business leadership program.
With a focus on an ethics-centered education, our M.B.A. starts with a core curriculum that covers accounting, economics, the behavioral and quantitative sciences, and the functional areas of business.
There are many paths to follow. With a management focus, you can choose from diverse courses, such as:
- Management and Social Responsibility
- Gender and Diversity Issues
- Consultancy Management
- Leadership in Challenging Times
At the end of the program, you'll have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained and consult with an actual client in our M.B.A. consulting course.
Expect small class sizes and dynamic discussions with your peers, industry professionals, and professors-whose expertise spans organizational behavior, corporate social responsibility, labor relations, international business, entrepreneurship, and many other areas.
Center for Entrepreneurial Studies
Created in 2003, the Center advances hands-on entrepreneurial learning and fosters an entrepreneurial spirit in our students. The business community and alumni entrepreneurs help shape curriculum and mentor students to prepare them for entrepreneurial endeavors, whether they work for a large corporation, mid-sized company or a start-up.
Many of our full-time faculty have attended top Ph.D. programs and are in demand as lecturers, consultants, and media experts. Stillman School faculty provide an academic experience characterized by high faculty-student engagement, often partnering with students on research and other projects.
