The concentration in nonprofit management offers a unique specialization designed to provide students and professionals with the skills, tools, and strategies to manage nonprofit and social enterprises whose primary missions are to serve the common good. The courses in this concentration develop proficiency in theory and practice of nonprofit enterprises, law and governance, organizational culture and development, accounting and financial management, fundraising and institutional advancement, volunteer and human resource management, and product and service marketing, to name a few competencies. This concentration aims to provide a flexible and rich experience to students as they navigate this complex and exciting nonprofit landscape, and in the process help prepare them to be ethical leaders in their organizations.
