MBA International Management - Highlights

Elective Courses

Besides the imparting of general management knowledge and skills, the MBA International Management also covers a number of electives providing a deeper understanding of a particular field. During their studies, students combine two of four elective courses, selecting one specialized course per term. Choices are "Digital Business Transformation" or "Management in Emerging Markets" in Term 1 (September-December) as well as "Global Supply Chain Management" or "Social Entrepreneurship" in Term 2 (February-May).

International Focus

Though basic business principles apply everywhere, every international market is shaped by its own political, cultural and historical landscapes. A good share of our coursework is therefore dedicated to exploring international markets, international business methods and specific economies that are currently impacting global business.

You may choose one out of three international focusses:

Business in Germany & Europe
Business in Latin America
Business in China

In addition, you may improve your foreign language skills in the form of an optional language class, choosing between German, Spanish and Chinese.

Individual Immersion

In Term 3, you select either an international immersion or one of two practical immersions. Options are

Option 1: Semester abroad
Option 2: Internship + International Week
Option 3: International Consulting Project + International Week

We understand that the network of classmates and industry contacts established during your MBA program are important assets. Therefore, a variety of MBA Networking Events has been created. Furthermore, MBS pays very close attention to putting together a diverse yet cohesive MBA class, aiming to create the best possible opportunities for in terms of networking potential and mutual enrichment.

During your studies, you may participate in a high number of networking events and celebrations, e.g. guest lectures, Alumni Career Events, Career Days or semester opening parties.
